The rookie running back produced Sacred Heart’s first touchdown of the game midway through the second quarter. With SHU facing a 14-0 deficit, Chestnut broke free for a 71-yard scoring scamper on a first-down play. The first-year Pioneer was a catalyst during SHU’s second touchdown drive of the game, which came on the opening possession of the second half. He gained 44 yards and recorded three first downs on the drive that pulled Sacred Herat to within 21-14.
