Thomas' collegiate career is only seven games old and the first-year Blackbird has already compiled a league-leading seven double-doubles. Extending her double-doubles streak during the Blackbirds' lone outing last week, the freshman scored 12 points and secured a game-high 14 caroms in a narrow setback to America East member UMass Lowell. Thomas, who was limited to 22 minutes against the Riverhawks, was one of only three players in the game to make six field goals. The New York City product has been the Blackbirds' top rebounder in all seven games this season. She paces the NEC in rebounding (13.0 rpg) and ranks sixth amongst conference leaders in scoring (14.3 ppg).
