Jackson eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark for the third time in his last four games. Averaging 8.5 yards per carry during his latest outing, the RMU rookie recorded 153 yards and an important touchdown on 18 rush attempts against Division II Central State. With the Colonials looking to add to a 42-39 edge early in the fourth quarter, Jackson took a first-down hand-off and jaunted 53 yards to paydirt. The redshirt freshman running back proceeded to help salt away a 49-45 victory. After Central State pulled to within four points with 6:15 remaining in the fourth quarter, Jackson and the Colonials did not allow their opponent another possession. The rookie rushed for 56 yards and three first downs as RMU ran out the clock.
