WEEK 9 STATS: 7 total tackles, 3.5 TFL, 2.0 sacks, FF
Lee lived up to his national ranking during Saint Francis’ trip to Robert Morris. Moving up into a tie for third place on the FCS leader board in tackles for a loss, the junior linebacker recorded 3.5 hits behind the line of scrimmage. Lee totaled seven tackles, 2.0 sacks and one forced fumble during the 20-7 road win. Spearheading a SFU effort that held the opponent to the lowest offensive output (217 yards) in a NEC game this season, Lee limited the ball carrier to a two-yard gain or less on all four run stops. With Robert Morris approaching midfield late in the first quarter of a scoreless game, Lee made back-to-back tackles that forced the offense into a punting situation. After hitting the ball carrier for a two-yard loss on first down, the junior linebacker sacred the quarterback to push RMU into a 3rd-and-19. On RMU’s first play since SFU took a 7-0 lead, Lee stopped the running back for a two-yard gain on first down from the 7-yard line.
