WEEK 10 STATS: 232 rush yards, 33 rushes, TD rush, 7.0 ypc
Piling up more than 200 yards from scrimmage for the third game in a row, Hines ran for 232 yards on a career-high 33 carries during Duquesne's triumphant visit to Grymes Hill. The bruising running back averaged 7.0 yards per rush attempt and scored his league-leading 12th touchdown in the 47-30 road win that kept the Dukes within 1.0 game of first-place Sacred Heart. Inching closer to his third consecutive 1,000-yard rushing campaign, the 2016 Jerry Rice Award recipient recorded nine first downs and accounted for three runs of at least 30 yards in length. After gaining 12 yards to move the Dukes into Wagner territory, Hines eventually capped off an eight-play touchdown drive with a one-yard plunge in the final minute of the first half. Earlier, he set up the Dukes first score of the day by converting a 3rd-and-2 that resulted in a 1st-and-Goal at the 2-yard line. He started that possession by totaling 20 yards on three consecutive carries. Hines has logged a league-high 654 rush yards over the course of four conference contests. Upping his career rushing total to 3,315 yards, he moved up to 13th on the all-time NEC leader board.
