Ciszek garnered her fourth NEC Rookie of the Week award following a two-match stretch in which she averaged 8.5 assists per set in a split for the Pioneers. She started the week compiling 36 assists, 17 digs and six kills in a five-set loss to Bryant on Friday night. SHU rebounded on Saturday with a straight set win over Central Connecticut to clinch a bid in the NEC Tournament as Ciszek contributed 32 assists, seven kills and six digs. The San Juan Capistrano, CA native finished the week averaging 2.8 digs and 1.62 kills in addition to her assist numbers. She currently leads the NEC this season with 9.10 assists per set.
