Rota scored his first career goal in RMU's 2-1 win over Mount St. Mary’s on Friday night. The freshman midfielder headed a cross from teammate Zac Sherman on goal that was stopped, but Rota followed up and scored on his own rebound in the 87th minute. The late goal proved to be the game-winner and kept the Colonials' tournament hopes alive with the victory.
