Irwin, a 2017 NEC first teamer, led a young Bulldog back-end to a pair of shutout performances against Robert Morris and LIU Brooklyn. The junior from Succasunna, NJ spearheaded a defense that only allowed a total of six shots on goal in the two matches combined. Overall, the Bulldogs outscored their opponents 5-0 to improve to 4-2-1 in NEC-play which is currently good for fourth in the conference standings.
