San Juan garners her second rookie honors following her first two collegiate victories in the 1000 and 500 freestyle events. She out-swam competitors from the Mount, St. Peter's and Manhattan at the NJIT Invitational in both events, as her 1000 free time of 10:51.89 ranks fourth in the NEC so far this season. Overall, she notched two top-5 times and three in the top-10 as she also swam well in an exhibition with Columbia. She took third in the 200 butterfly event, slotting in as the NEC's fourth best time so far again, clocking in at 2:12.56. San Juan will be back in the pool next week as the Blackbirds will host Sacred Heart and Stony Brook.
