After notching her first career NEC Defensive Player of the Week award a week ago, Barron posted her second shutout of the season with an eight-save performance in a 1-0 win over Sacred Heart on Friday. The Rutgers transfer delivered a shinning moment 15 minutes into the second half when she denied a Pioneer penalty kick that preserved the lead for the Mount. The win improved the Mount to 2-1-1, good for fourth place in the NEC with eight points.
