The 2017 NEC Rookie of the Year, Albertsson tallied two goals and an assist in the Knights' 6-2 win over Wagner on Sunday to finish the week 2-0. She struck first for the Knights, equalizing the match in the 21st minute the first half with a clean-up job off a Wagner save. She found paydirt once again in the 25th minute with a laser into the upper-90 to give FDU a 3-1 lead as the Knights scored three goals in less than four minutes. The sophomore wasn't done, however, initiating two more FDU goals. She sent in a cross to freshman Madelyn Robbins early in the second half that opened up a 4-1 lead, before later causing more havoc for the Seahawks with a deep over-the-top ball that developed into a transition goal for the Knights. The Stockholm native's big offensive day was a part of an offensive splash for Fairleigh Dickinson over the weekend, combining to outscore LIU and Wagner by an 8-2 margin. Albertsson, an All-NEC first teamer a year ago, is second on FDU in both goals (4) and points (11), and ranks in the NEC top-10 in scoring, goals and assists.
