After missing much of the 2017-18 season, Abernethy picked up right where she left off with solid performances in Bryant's dual meet with Boston College. The senior battled multiple BC and Bryant divers to take second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Her 1-meter (234.66) and 3-meter (238.34) scores are tops in the NEC this season. Abernethy, who hails from Chandler, AZ is now an 11-time NEC Diver of the Week over the course of her career.
