WEEK 7 STATS: 9 total tackles, 2.0 TFL, 1.0 sack, FF, QBH
Gill was the ultimate disruptive force during Wagner's one-point NEC victory over Saint Francis. The junior linebacker, who totaled nine tackles, recorded a strip sack, two half-tackles for a loss and a quarterback hurry. Gill limited the opposition to a one-yard gain or less on six of his nine stops. He helped derail SFU's first possession of the second half, dropping the ball carrier for a one-yard loss on 2nd-and-10. The Flash punted two plays later. After Saint Francis reached the red zone on its next possession, Gill strip-sacked the passer on a first-down play from the 19 and Wagner recovered the loose ball. Gill delivered another half-tackle for loss on the second snap of the fourth quarter, leading to another SFU punt with the Seahawks protecting a 16-7 lead. Later in the quarter, Gill stopped the ball carrier for no gain in a 3rd-and-1 situation.
