Barone scored her first collegiate goal in brilliant fashion, striking an overtime winner in the 97th minute to give the Seahawks a 1-0 victory over LIU Brooklyn on Saturday. Teammate Le'la Allen played Barone up the left sideline, and the freshman cut toward the corner of the box where she unleashed a laser that curled inside the back post for the win. The dramatic goal gave the Seahawks their first conference victory of the season. Barone, a Parsippany, NJ native, now has four points on the year.
