Bowman won five individual events in the first two weekends of the 2018-19 season that included three gold medals at the Northeast Catholic Invite. A silver medalist in the 100 butterfly in each of the last two NEC Championships, Bowman begins her junior campaign with dominating performances in that event. She first touched the wall in 56.59 at a dual meet with Bowling Green on September 28, before again claiming gold the following weekend with a meet record 56.34 time. The Vandergrift, PA native product won the 100 freestyle in both meets, touching in 53.70 and 53.11, respectively. She won the first of her three golds at the Northeast Catholic Invite - all of which are NEC top times to start the new season - with a solid effort in the 200 IM, clocking in at 2:08.97, also a meet record. Bowman helped lead the Red Flash to a second place showing in a field that included Boston College, Providence, Fairfield and Holy Cross among others.
