The 6'2 Hansson was a force at the net all weekend for the Blackbirds, averaging 1.83 blocks per set in a pair of sweeps to open up LIU's league slate. She blocked four FDU attempts, including one solo, to help stymie the Knights' attack on Friday. LIU traveled to Fairfield the very next day as the Swedish native registered three solo blocks and seven in total in a 3-0 win over a Sacred Heart team that entered league play with an 8-4 overall record. Hansson's seven blocks tied for the NEC match-high this season despite it only being a three set match. She also leads the Conference in hitting percentage with a .333 mark.
