Herbert played shutdown defense for the Knights in their 2-1 victory over Army on Monday. The freshman defender helped steer away several quality scoring chances by Army and helped limit the Black Knights to just four shots on goal in the game. The Brooklyn, NY native also marked Army’s 6’ 4” defender Zac McGraw on corner kicks.
