Waterman netted her first career goal as a Knight on Thursday, heading in a corner kick in the 76th minute to give Fairleigh Dickinson a 1-0 victory over Conference USA opponent Marshall. The defender struck just beneath the crossbar from the six-yard line on the assist from fellow freshman Lea Egner. Waterman started both of the Knights’ contests over the weekend on the back line, playing all 180 minutes against Marshall and Providence, and was part of a defense that allowed just one goal in that span.
