Cabell swung the Flash’s hottest bat last week, hitting four homers in four games. She finished the week with 10 RBI, a .571 average and a robust 1.571 slugging percentage. In the second game of a doubleheader against RMU, the three-time All-NEC first teamer went 3-for-5 with two blasts that included a grand slam in the second frame. Then going into the fourth inning with her team down five runs and in danger of seeing the NEC-win streak fall, she played a role in a huge inning for SFU connecting on a solo-shot to left-center that brought the Red Flash within one run of a game that they went on to win 14-12 in extra innings. The Ivor, VA native added two more round-trippers in the pair of wins over FDU to give her an NEC-leading 17 on the year. Cabell became the all-time hits leader in SFU's history with 199 and counting in her four year career. Her batting average has risen to a healthy .321 while absolutely crushing her conference rivals, hitting at a .423 average against the NEC.
