Tuttle garnered his third weekly honors of the season following a monster performance to propel the Pioneers into the NEC Tournament. The Rocky Mountain state native totaled four goals as SHU took care of business, 10-6, against Hobart on Saturday. Following an early first strike from the Statesmen, he quickly rattled off two tallies less than a minute apart to get his team on the board. The junior finished with all four goals in the first half as SHU took a 7-4 lead into intermission before relying on the defense to finish the game. Tuttle put a bow on a regular season that saw him finish as the third-best goal scorer in the nation with an average of 3.21 per game. He now has 62 points on the year (45g, 17a), which is just four points shy of tying the NEC single-season record.
