England retains the NEC Track Athlete of the Week by virtue of his first 10K of the outdoor season. One week after recording the conference’s fastest 5,000m time, England doubled the distance and catapulted himself to the top of the NEC leader board in a second event. The decorated distance runner, who was the 2018 NEC Indoor MVP, crossed the line in 29:42.27 at the Bucknell Bison Classic. Clocking in as the first Division I finisher at the meet, England edged NEC rival Alex Norstrom (CCSU) by more than 15.0 seconds. As a result, he moved into the No. 27 spot on the NCAA East Region leader board and his time ranks 10th overall on the list of IC4A Championships qualifiers.
