Shubley claimed his third award of the 2017-18 season, and second this spring, after finishing tied for first place among 90 golfers at the Towson Invitational. The Whitby, Ontario native carded a three-over 147 through two rounds at the Prospect Bay Country Club in Maryland. Shubley posted the second-lowest score of the first round with a two-under 70 before moving into first place despite battling windy conditions on day two. In a field featuring seven NEC schools, Shubley led all competitors with nine birdies.
