Competing for the first time since winning the NEC Indoor crown, the rookie pole vaulter opened the outdoor season by striking gold at the Jim Taylor Invitational. Weaver cleared 3.80m (12’ 5.5”) to move into a tie atop the NEC leader board with Mount St. Mary’s sophomore Rachel Finn. Weaver and Finn are two of nine ECAC Championships qualifiers to vault at least 3.80m so far this spring.
