Roberts contested the high jump at the Florida Relays, participating in his signature event outdoors for the first time since last May. The reigning NEC champion cleared 2.11m (6’ 11”), tying for the highest mark at the meet and taking the conference lead in the process. Due to one fewer miss, Mississippi State’s Reggie Miller edged out Roberts for first place. Roberts, who cleared the bar on his second attempt at the height, settled for a silver medal. The veteran Blackbird is currently one of six IC4A Championships qualifiers to have jumped at least 2.11m this season.
