NEC Player of the Month
Kuhar comes off the most amazing stretch of his career, posting a 13-2 record since Bryant returned to the courts in January. The redshirt junior picked up a slew of impressive #1 singles wins, most notably over Cal’s Billy Griffith (7-5, 6-4), who is ranked 52nd nationally. He was also up a set over then 12th-ranked Ferran Calvo of Oklahoma when the match was halted. Kuhar produced victories over opponents from Harvard (Andy Zhou, ranked #125), Lamar, Brown, Richmond, Navy, Air Force, Weber State, and downed Patriot League Player of the Year Michael Nguyen from Army in straight sets. Kuhar, the 2016-17 NEC Player of the Year, improved his overall record to 19-6 over the course of the 2017-18 campaign.
