Troxell wielded a hot bat as the Red Flash posted a 2-3 record against high caliber competition at the Tiger Invitational hosted by No. 13 Auburn. The junior finished the five-game tourney with a .429 batting average, two home runs and five RBIs. She also boasted a .857 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage. Troxell started the weekend red-hot going 2-for-3 with a solo homer against Georgia State on Friday before finishing 3-for-3 with a trio of singles and a run scored in a 4-3 setback to the host Tigers later that night. In the Red Flash’s second game on Saturday, Troxell helped her team avenge the loss to Georgia State by smacking a grand slam in the fifth inning to break a 1-1 tie as the Flash would go on to post an 8-1 victory. The Navaree, OH native has now hit four home runs already this season to match Jordan Seneca’s (2017) school record for the fewest amount of games (nine) to hit four round trippers.
