The reigning NEC outdoor triple jump champion has established herself as a favorite to add a 2018 indoor title to her resume. Increasing her conference lead, Harnish broke the 12.00m barrier for the first time this winter. The third-year Colonial leapt 12.01m (39’ 5”) to out-class the field at the Youngstown State’s Mid Major Invite. Harnish, who leads the NEC by a 31-centimeter margin, ranks 22nd overall on the list of ECAC Championships qualifiers. She also owns NEC top-seven marks in the high jump and long jump.
