Ezenyilimba became the first NEC weight thrower to break the 18.00m barrier this season. The graduate transfer topped the field at the Boston University Multi Team Meet with her 18.22 (59’ 9.50”) fling. The mark extends Ezenyilimba’s NEC lead to more than 4.5 feet over SHU teammate Jenna Rothermel. She has eclipsed the ECAC Championships automatic qualifying standard at all five meets this season. Ezenyilimba, who sits 11th overall on the ECAC regional leader board, has earned three gold medals since making her SHU debut in December.
