Callahan’s collegiate debut featured 14 points during 17 minutes of floor time at Big Ten member Michigan State. Becoming the first RMU freshman in four years to score at least 14 points in a season lid-lifter, the 5-foot-8 guard came off the bench to make four three-pointers. Callahan, who shot 50 percent from the floor, made a trio of triples during the third quarter of the season-opening setback. The rookie guard was one of three NEC players to hit at least four three-pointers in a game this past weekend.
