Crawford set the NEC's single-game receiving season high during the Dukes' triumphant conference opener against Wagner. The junior totaled 156 yards and two touchdowns on six receptions. In addition to his two scores, he made four receptions resulting in first downs. Three of his catches came on third-down plays. Crawford, who has found the end zone in all five games this season, doubled Duquesne's lead to 14-0 when he caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Tommy Stuart on a 3rd-and-goal play 6:00 into the second quarter. The 5-foot-11 Floridian scored again on a 79-yard pass play, bumping Duquesne's advantage to 28-0 with 4:25 left in the third. Crawford's first catch of the game went for nine yards on 2nd-and-7. His first reception of the second quarter, an 18-yard gain, moved the chains for the Dukes on a 3rd-and-2 play. Helping set up Duquesne's final touchdown, he converted a 3rd-and-6 situation with a 30-yard reception on the third snap of the fourth quarter.
