NEC Co-Golfer ot the Month
Shubley, a second team All-NEC selection a year ago, led all NEC performers with a 72.0 stroke average for the month while posting a pair of top-seven finishes. Shubley began October with a third place showing at the Connecticut Cup where he posted a one-under par 215 (72-70-73). A week later, the Ontario native shot a five-over 145 (74-71) at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate event to land in seventh place. Shubley’s performance helped the Pioneers to their best finish of the fall, securing second place in the 11-team field.
