After a record-breaking indoor season, Beard is working his way up the 110m hurdles leader board. Competing at The College of New Jersey Invitational, the Wagner freshman contested the high hurdles for the second time this outdoor season and clocked in 0.48 second under the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships. Out-classing the field at TCNJ, Beard earned a gold medal while moving up to fourth place on the NEC performance list. Beard, who set the NEC Indoor Championship meet record in the 60m hurdles, is one of seven conference hurdlers who have already earned an automatic berth to the IC4A Championships at the 110m distance.
