Campfield, a two-time first team All-NEC selection, picked up a pair of NEC victories last week. At #3 singles she beat impressive FDU newcomer Marta Ruszczynska in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, as Bryant defeated the defending NEC champions, 4-3, on Saturday. The following afternoon she collected a 6-4, 6-3 win at the #2 spot over Sacred Heart’s Olivia Podsiebierski, a 2016 NEC All-Rookie honoree. Campfield, who also earned a #2 doubles win with Nina Luiggi against SHU, improved to 3-1 in singles competition this spring.
