Heinze propelled the Mountaineers to a 3-1 week that featured a sweep of NEC rival Fairleigh Dickinson. She hit .615 (8-for-13) with two home runs, three doubles, eight RBI and six runs scored. She reached base safely during two of every three plate appearances and accounted for a 1.308 slugging percentage. She had four hits in seven at-bats during two victories over Fairleigh Dicksinson. Heinze homered and scored three runs as the Mount opened the doubleheader against the Knights with a 12-7 win. In the nightcap, a 7-0 shutout, Mount’s catcher logged three hits and two RBI. Earlier in the week, Heinze launched a three-run homer during Mount’s 4-3 victory over MEAC member Morgan State. The senior is batting .402 with nine home runs and 26 RBI this season.
