Woods hurdled his way to a pair of top-25 regional rankings while lifting the lid off his outdoor season at High Point’s Bob Davidson Spring Kick-off. The fourth-year Mountaineer struck gold in both the 110m and 400m hurdles at High Point. Woods, who posted the top qualifying time, completed the 110m final in 14.27. In addition to making him the early-season NEC leader, the time ranks 19th-best amongst the top hurdlers in the NCAA Division I East Region. Taking the league lead in a second event, Woods ran the 400m hurdles in 52.98. That time sits 21st on the East Region performance list. He easily surpassed the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championship in both events.
