Aslanian tallied a team-high 16 points in two wins for the Statesmen last week. The 2016 NEC Rookie of the Year scored a goal and added two assists in an 18-11 win over Canisius on Tuesday. The Westfield, NJ native then followed up with a scintillating 13-point effort on six goals and seven assists in Hobart’s 17-5 win over Wagner to open league play on Saturday. Aslanian's 13 points established a new DI single-game school standard, ranked third on the school's all-time list and marked the highest total by a Hobart player in 44 years. The sophomore also tied Hobart’s record for goals in a DI game and was one assist shy of matching the school mark. Likewise, Aslanian tied the NEC record for most points in a game set by Bryant’s Tucker James during the 2016 season and also equaled the NEC single-game record for assists. At the time of this writing, Aslanian’s 13 points are the most by a DI player this season. He now leads the team with 28 points and ranks third with 13 goals.
