For the second time this season, Miller’s efforts between the pipes earned her the NEC Defensive Player of the Week award. The freshman stopped 10 shots and allowed just seven goals as the Colonials posted a 9-7 victory over Detroit Mercy for their third win in the last four outings. Miller, who made three saves over the final 2:18 of the contest to preserve the victory, posted a .588 save percentage for the game and added a pair of ground balls.
