Trahan claims her third NEC Rookie of the Week honor after recording a stellar 1.02 ERA over 20.2 innings as she posted a 1-1 record and picked up a save in SFU’s nine games down in Texas. Over two contests against UT Arlington, Trahan pitched 5.2 innings without allowing a run and picked up a save. She then allowed just one earned run in an eight-inning stint against Tulsa thaw saw the Red Flash fall in extra innings. Trahan went on to toss two scoreless innings in relief in a 4-0 win over Tulsa on Saturday and earned a win over Incarnate Word on Sunday, yielding two runs on three hits over 5.0 innings while fanning five batters.
