Rizzi’s offensive outburst helped boost LIU Brooklyn to a 4-1 record at the Stetson Hatter Classic. She finished the tournament 10-18 (.556) with seven RBIs and eight runs scored. She opened play by going 4-5 with four runs and 3 RBIs in a 17-6 win over Cornell on Friday. She also went 2-3 and drove in a run in LIU’s 15-7 win over South Dakota on Saturday, then had another big game against the Coyotes to conclude the weekend, going 3-5 with two runs scored and two more RBI.
