DeVries was named the NEC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season after finishing 3-1 with a 2.14 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 19.2 innings as the Red Flash competed at the UT Arlington Tournament and four other games in a trip to Texas. In wins against North Texas, UT Arlington and Tulsa, she allowed just three earned runs across 16.2 innings. In Saint Francis U’s 11-2 victory over North Texas on Wednesday, DeVries fanned six in six innings and allowed two earned runs. The senior followed with 5.2 innings of two-hit ball and just one earned run allowed, helping the Red Flash to a 5-2 win over UT Arlington on Friday. In her final start, DeVries tossed five innings of shutout ball in a 4-0 conquest of Tulsa on Saturday.
