Ruszczynska, a transfer who won 10 matches at Southern Mississippi as a freshman, has posted a 3-1 singles record this month for the defending NEC champion Knights. She knocked off Hofstra’s Giulia Leone (6-1, 6-1) and Lauren Moreno of UMass (6-0, 6-4) in straight sets at the #5 flight, and downed Colgate’s Lauren O’Brien (7-5, 6-1) in #4 flight play. She also claimed a pair of wins at #2 doubles.
