Trainor enjoyed a record showing at the BU Hemery Valentine Invitational, setting a personal best in the mile while also contributing to the fastest DMR in CCSU history. The Empire State product ran the mile in 4:09.63 to move past Sacred Heart’s Trevor Guerrera for first place on the NEC leader board. In addition to topping the IC4A Championships qualifying standard in the mile by nearly 5.0 seconds, Trainor helped CCSU’s DMR team climb up to seventh place on the IC4A regional performance list. The Blue Devils clocked in at 9:46.12, breaking a six-year old program record.
