Boody overtook Bryant’s Jonee Harrison for second place on the NEC performance list in the women’s 20-pound weight throw. The Pittsburgh product set a personal record by producing a 16.68m (54’ 8.75”) fling at the Youngstown State University National Invite. Finishing second only to Duquesne’s Mercedes Oliver, Boody exceeded the 16.00m mark, which is the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships, on four of her attempts at YSU. The senior also moved up to seventh amongst NEC shot put leaders as a result of her showing in Youngstown.
