The reigning NEC Indoor 800m champion finds herself at the league leader board following her performance at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational. Thompson clocked in at 2:11.05, producing the sixth-fastest time amongst collegiate entries in the loaded 129-person field. Coming in well under the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships in March, the time is 0.48 second better than the program record that Thompson set while contesting the 2016 ECAC meet. Her latest performance also landed the British-born Knight in the NCAA Division I Top 85.
