Competing for the first time in the New Year, the freshman sprinter established himself as a NEC contender in two events. Kimble posted a pair of NEC top-4 times while winning two medals at the Navy Meet No. 2. The first-year Mountaineer completed the 200m dash in 22.21 to move into fourth place on the league leader board. Kimble jumped into second place on the conference's 60m performance list by clocking in at 6.94, one one-hundredth of a second behind the league leader. Both times automatically qualify Kimble for the IC4A Championships in March.
