Quon took home her second NEC Rookie of the Week award after posting a pair of individual wins against Youngstown State on Friday. The freshman won the 1,000 freestyle (10:43.03) and the 200 backstroke. Her time of 2:06.85 in the 200 backstroke is the fifth-best time in Saint Francis U history. Her time of 2:09.13 as she finished second in the 200 individual medley slotted in as 10th-best in program annals. Quon’s times rank her sixth in the NEC in both events this season. The Tempe, AZ product also helped the Red Flash to wins in the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay against Duquesne the following afternoon.
