WEEK 11 STATS: 225 passing yards, 4 Total TD (3 pass, 1 rush)
Drayer was responsible for all four of Saint Francis’ touchdowns in a 31-21 title-clinching victory over Central Connecticut. Engineering a win that lands SFU into the FCS playoffs for the first time ever, the senior signal caller passed for 225 yards and three scores. He also recorded a rushing touchdown during what was his 41st career appearance. The 6-foot-4 quarterback was crisp early, tossing two first-quarter scoring strikes. Two plays after his 49-yard hookup with Kamron Lewis brought SFU into the red zone for the first time, Drayer found Jordan Milberry in the right flat for a 9-yard touchdown that opened the game’s scoring 2:10 into the first quarter. The Keystone State product led the Flash to paydirt for a second time when he calmly collected a botched snap and found Lewis on a 19-yard dart inside the near-right pylon. Drayer completed passes of 19, 17 and 19 yards on the go-ahead drive, which gave SFU a 14-7 lead with 4:32 left in the opening period. The veteran field general tallied his sixth rushing touchdown of the season with a 2-yard surge on a 4th-and-goal play, increasing SFU’s lead to 24-14 6:52 prior to halftime. Drayer capped the scoring with a 6-yard play-action pass to Marcus Alston, bumping the lead to 31-14 only 3:13 into the second half.
