Brown was on point while defending Fairleigh Dickinson’s home turf at the ultra-competitive Jersey Jamboree. Averaging a conference-high 20.60 pins per frame over the course of three days, Brown was a key reason why the Knights won their first 11 matches at the 27-team tournament. She led the team in total pinfall (2,698), spare percentage (.831) and filled frames percentage (.909) as FDU posted an event-best 12-1 win-loss record. The Garden State product, who converted 92.0 percent of her non-split spare attempts, left only 12 opens over the course 132 frames bowled. Brown threw 67 strikes in 138 chances during the three-day event, which welcomed 14 national top-25 programs to New Jersey’s Parkway Lanes. Helping the Knights secure the top seed for Sunday’s championship bracket matches, Brown performed sensationally well during Saturday’s traditional team contests. Finishing second in the individual standings by a single pin, Brown posted a 213.2 traditional game average over five FDU victories. She eclipsed the 200-pin mark in wins over Jackson State (234), Caldwell (201) and Sacred Heart (248). Her 199-pin performance led the team in a 910-811 triumph over UAB.
