WEEK 9 STATS: 4 total tackles (1 solo), 2 PBU, 1.0 sack
Nagaseu spearheaded a SFU defensive effort that bottled up Sacred Heart and all-time NEC total offense leader RJ Noel. With the Red Flash becoming the first team this season to hold Sacred Heart under 300 yards of offense, Nagaseu proved to be a disruptive force up front while recording four tackles and two pass break-ups. The senior lineman, who helped clog the passing lanes, swatted down a third-down pass to force a first-quarter punt. The 6-foot-1 Hawaiian-born defender put his paw on another pass in the third quarter, again preventing a third-down conversion. Nagaseu, who derailed a second-quarter SHU drive with a sack on third down, was part of a performance that limited the opposition to only 3.6 yards per pass attempt.
