Jackson earned her second straight NEC Rookie of the Week award as well as her first NEC Player of the Week honor after scoring a goal in each match as the Blue Devils defeated Bryant, 3-0, and LIU Brooklyn, 2-0. Against Bryant, the Scotland native sent a corner to teammate Kelly Halligan, who passed to Brianna Scaldaferri, who then fed the ball back to Jackson for the conversion from 20 yards away in the 50th minute. In Sunday’s win over the Blackbirds, Jackson slipped past a defender in the box in the 61st minute to score the final goal in the 2-0 win. The freshman has scored in each of the team’s last three NEC games, helping the first place Blue Devils to a 3-0 start. Her six points and three goals are tied for the NEC scoring lead in league play.
